La Casa degli Gnomi
The agriturismo "La Casa degli Gnomi", with swimming pool (18x6), located in Ortezzano, a small medieval village in the valley of the river Aso, the newly founded province of Fermo, Le Marche. It is located in the middle of a 30-acre farm with organic farming. In just 20 minutes from the beaches of the Adriatic and the Monte Sibillini National Park.
The agriturismo "La Casa degli Gnomi" is in the middle of a large organic farm, specializing primarily in the cultivation of vineyards and fruit trees. It is located in the Marche region, in Ortezzano, a small medieval town in the Valle dell'Aso. In little more than 15 minutes to reach the Adriatic Sea (Pedaso, Porto San Giorgio, San Benedetto del Tronto) or the National Park of Monti Sibillini (M. Carrier, M. Sibilla).
The owner Mariella and Geremia have decided together with her children to rebuild two of the three typical farmhouses of the estate in an environmentally friendly way, and they have not renounced the use of advanced technologies in the type of heating and water heating.
Thus arose 10 apartments of various sizes. One house has 6 apartments, all equipped with kitchen, bedroom and bathroom with shower. They have exposed beams and feature typical rustic. The second, recently renovated, is located near the pool and includes 4 residential units of varying size and amenities.
The swimming pool (18x6), surrounded by ancient olive trees is the guests free of charge. Garden chairs and beach chairs are plentiful. The many paths that lead through the yard, invite the tourists to go hiking in the vineyards. Those who want to experience the seasonal agricultural activities is welcome to join. There is, of course, but simply the opportunity to relax.
For those who decide to spend part of their time to visit historical sites, there are less than 2 km away from the farm is a very important archeological zone, a Roman shrine to the late-Republican (I-II century BC. ).
On request we organize for them a tour of the valley high in the air, from the Riviera coast to the Sibillini National Park. A feeling that you are not to be missed!

The apartment is on the ground floor (54 sq m/each). It was built eliminating every type of architectural barrier and can accommodate 5 people. It consists of an entrance, a kitchen, two bedrooms with three beds, bathroom with shower and a relevance (gazebo) to eat outside. On request it is possible to add other beds or toddler bed(6+)
Ortezzano
Proud and rich in historic charm rises to 301 m Ortezzano above sea level. The small but lively town has about 810 inhabitants, and their origin can be traced back to the time of the Piceno. The emblem of the region (three hydrangeas on three hills) testifies to what you see: Ortezzano is the flower of the Val d'Aso valley.
Ortezzano covers an area of 699 ha, of which only 52 hectares are cultivated. People live from agriculture and the processing and marketing their products. The fertility of the valley and the hilly terrain makes it possible that in this region, especially fruits and vegetables are grown.
